   The St.Thomas Indian Orthodox Church,Papworth,Cambridge is a Parish Church (Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church ) under the Catholicate in India HH Baselius Marthoma Didymus I as the Catholicos.

The parish is included in the Diocese of UK & Europe where H. G. Dr.Mathews Mar Themothios Metropolitan serves as its Diocesan Bishop.

The Indian Orthodox Church is one of the Oriental Orthodox Churches. The Church has its basic faith formula as the Nicene Creed and share the same faith as all the pre-chalcedonian Orthodox Churches.
